Pick the accounts you believe are inaccurate, from all three bureau reports.
DIYcreditFREE AI DISPUTE LETTER GENERATOR
Choose the items on your credit report you believe are wrong and pick the reason. AI drafts a dispute letter for each bureau, addressed and organized, with a marked copy of your report. You review it, sign it, and mail it.
The letter tools are free. Your reports come in through SmartCredit®, a separate membership ($1 for 7 days, then $34.95/mo), or link one you already have.
HOW IT WORKS
Pick the accounts you believe are inaccurate, from all three bureau reports.
Select the reason, add details from your records, and AI drafts the letter.
Review the finished letters, then print, sign, and mail them.
WHAT YOU GET
A specific, documented dispute gets investigated. A vague or copied one gets dismissed. Every packet is built around the specifics.
DISPUTE REASONS
Each reason has its own wording, so the bureau knows exactly what to check. Generic templates, like the so-called 609 letter, are easy to dismiss.
QUESTIONS
Yes. Building, editing, and printing letters in DIY Credit costs nothing, with no limit on letters. To bring your credit reports in, you need a SmartCredit® membership, which is separate: $1 for 7 days, then $34.95 a month, billed by ConsumerDirect. If you already have SmartCredit®, you can link it at no extra cost.
Yes. Every paragraph can be changed, and you can add details from your own records to any item. You read, sign, and mail every letter yourself; nothing is sent for you.
Each letter is already addressed. For reference: TransUnion, P.O. Box 2000, Chester, PA 19016-2000; Experian, P.O. Box 4500, Allen, TX 75013; Equifax, P.O. Box 740256, Atlanta, GA 30374-0256.
It is worth the few dollars. Certified mail with a return receipt gives you proof of the date the bureau received your letter, and that date starts the clock on its investigation.
Generally 30 days from receiving your dispute, sometimes up to 45. Our guide to what happens after you mail a dispute walks through the result letters.
No, and the generator is not built for that. Disputes are for information you believe is inaccurate, incomplete, or not yours. Accurate, current information generally stays on a report, and nobody can lawfully promise to remove it.
Your three bureau reports in one place, a letter for each item you choose, and a record of everything you send.
